This three session (5/6, 5/13, 5/20) Mindful Eating and Stress Management Training will focus on the following:

  • The basics of a mindful eating practice 
  • Understanding the importance of mindfulness meditation practice for a mindful eating practice
  • Learning concrete mindful eating techniques (8 types of hunger, ways to slow down the eating, 6 BASICS to a daily mindful eating practice etc.)
  • Learning the foundational skills for mindful eating practice
  • How to teach formal and informal meditation techniques
  • Participants will be given handouts for training others to eat mindfully and meditate
