Yoga Breathing to Prepare for Good Digestion
Jamie Mullen, Certified Spanda® Yoga Therapist, will guide you through the traditional but lesser known practices of yogic influence on digestion and respiration. During this 1-hour webinar, you’ll learn a few simple methods to help initiate the rest and digest mode of the nervous system and stop inappropriate stimulation of the fight or flight response. We will take an introductory, but deep look into the idea of building a metabolic fire, known as Agni Sara Kriya to the yogis. We will also explore Pranayama, the ancient art of breath or subtle energy control. The popular stretching and strength building postures of yoga will not be addressed in this session.
