In this workshop, Herbalist Tish Streeten will teach you how to make herbal teas, tinctures, and vinegars that can be easily included in your daily diet. Create homemade, seasonally appropriate, herbal products using organically grown plants from the garden, from the wild, and from local farms and grocery stores. Participants will receive a list of items and ingredients to bring to the workshop upon registration.
Tish’s first teacher was Juliette de Bairacli Levy, the grandmother of today’s herbal renaissance. She is a graduate of David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies and has dedicated more than 40 years to studying and traveling in Europe, Africa, India, and America. Tish founded the herbal CSA Queen Mab’s CSM to provide gentle, nourishing, and preventative healthcare using local plants. Tish also makes documentaries about herbal healers, farming, the environment, and the cultural traditions of the world. Her current project is the film Tulsi, Queen of Herbs.
