Are you aware that one in three women over the age of 50 experience osteoporotic fractures, as do one in five men?
Join Marta Galagoza, a pharmacy student at Rutgers University, and Tammy L Sands, program manager at Eating for Your Health, for a 90-minute webinar on how to decrease your odds, overcome osteoporosis and strengthen your bones for life.
Marta and Tammy will dive deep into which vitamins, nutrients, and foods you need more of to strengthen your skeleton—all of which are available by eating nutrient-rich foods including plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Attendees of this cost-free, judgment-free webinar will learn:
• What osteopenia/osteoporosis is.
• The surprising No. 1 causes of osteopenia/osteoporosis. • Which nutrients strengthen your bones.
• Which foods rob your bones of their strength.
• Which movements and exercises increase bone density.
In addition to learning which nutrients, behaviors and exercises increase bone strength, attendees will also have an opportunity to create a network that will support them every step in maintaining healthy bones.
During the session, Marta will present for 40-45 minutes and then we will engage in a group activity for 15-20 minutes. There will also be plenty of time to address any questions you may have throughout our time together.
The informational part of this course will be recorded and made available to registrants within two weeks after the course date.
