Join Anne Macaulay, Ph.D., NBC-HWC, on Sunday, Sept 18th for an in-person event where she teaches you when and how to harvest your herbs and vegetables as well as simple ways to preserve the bounty from your garden. The focus will be on what you can do to easily preserve produce, without having to resort to canning. Learn what herbs can be dried, frozen or are best made into pesto. How to freeze chiles, roast tomatoes for puree, and use the freezer to save time chopping kale.
Newbies and experienced gardeners are welcome!
Fee: $25 and Space is limited to 12 participants. Registration and pre-payment are required.

Speaker Bio –At a young age, Anne was in charge of the family garden, and she has continued gardening ever since. Her focus on real food is integrated into her practice as a Functional Health Coach and Behavior Change Specialist. Dr. Macaulay earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from Stanford University and her Functional Health Coaching certification through Chris Kresser's ADAPT program.
