Mindful Eating for Your Health with Dr. Joseph Wieliczko

What is mindful eating?  Hint: It’s not a diet.  In this four-part series, Dr. Joseph Wieliczko will share his knowledge and experience and teach us that mindful eating means eating with awareness so that we can change our relationship with food and with ourselves.

These four sessions (10/17, 10/24, 11/7 & 11/14) will focus on the following and help you develop your own mindful practice of self-compassion.

Session 1: Getting the basics of a mindful eating practice 

Session 2: Understand how to cope with cravings

Session 3: Learn about real mindful eating techniques:

  • The eight types of hunger
  • Different ways to slow down the eating process
  • Six BASIC steps to eating mindfully

Session 4: How to lower your stress level using various mindful eating and mindfulness practices
