Eating healthy during the holiday season can be a tricky balance.
Staying on track is not easy when you have pressure from your
family and friends to “enjoy” the food and an endless amounts of
treats right within reach. Many of us hold emotional attachments
to these celebratory foods and associate some of our favorite
memories of holiday gatherings with these foods. With the
holidays quickly heading our way, Marion will share strategies
and tips for ways to dodge the pressure to overeat and keep on
track with healthy eating.
Marion Reinson is the executive director of Eating For Your Health, a nonprofit in Princeton, New Jersey that takes nutrition out of the clinic and into the kitchen, where real change happens.
Under Reinson, the group educates participants about how to source and prepare delicious, whole food meals—without processed ingredients. She works meaningfully and inclusively with a variety of community partners including schools, higher-ed, adult communities, faith- and civic-based organizations, businesses and other local nonprofits - to deliver programs about food and nutrition in an easy to consume and non-judgmental manner (one of our foundational pillars).
